Join this workshop that teaches how to climb the steps necessary for your rise within your organization. Learn to strategize and develop a road to success while minimizing the obstacles you may encounter.

 

04  FAMILY MEDICAL LEAVE ACT

The ins and outs of using the Family Medical Leave Act in your workplace. Got questions? This workshop can answer them.

 

05  MALE-FEMALE RELATIONSHIPS

Together we will learn how the roots of our Africanancestry can help our understanding of who we are asbrothers and sisters, men and women, joined in thecommon struggle of overcoming the double legacy ofracism and sexism in America.

07  PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURE

Yes, you can understand and use social media to build membership unity. Workshop participants will create an actual conference newsletter that will go to everyone at the conference.

 

11  COLLECTIVE BARGAINING

Explore the negotiation process and how to build your package for negotiation, create a win-win situation, and conduct yourself as a negotiator. Learn internal and external factors that contribute to the negotiating climate.
