Directions to our Center
The Center for Labor & Community Studies, and most of our conferences, are located at Fairlane Center North (19000 Hubbard Drive, Dearborn MI 48126).
USING MAP APPS: Most directions will bring you in through the SOUTH entrance, so you will need to drive across to the NORTH entrance (as indicated on the map).
PARKING: Our center has multiple free parking lots that participants can use.
ENTRY: During the school year, the Fairlane Center is open from 8am-7pm on weekdays. Outside of those times, entrances require key-card entry unless left open for an event. Please call us at 313-583-6400 if you need assistance entering the building.
HOURS: We are open 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, though our programming often falls outside of those hours. However, please note that we are a hybrid workplace. Unless your appointment is scheduled, please verify that someone will be in the building even during normal business hours.

From M-14 E/I-96:
Whie on M-14, follow the signs for Plymouth/Livonia to merge onto I-96
Take exit 183 to merge onto M-39 S/Southfield Fwy
Take exit 7 toward M-153/Ford Rd
Merge onto Southfield Rd
Turn right onto Hubbard Dr
Turn right into Fairlane Center South (19000 Hubbard Dr)
Drive across from Fairlane Center South to Fairlane Center North
From I-94 E:
While on I-94 E, take exit 204 for MI-39/Southfield Fwy
Keep left to continue toward M-39 N/Southfield Fwy
Keep left and merge onto M-39 N/Southfield Fwy
Take exit 6 toward US-12/Michigan Ave
Merge onto Southfield Rd
Turn left onto Hubbard Dr
Turn right into Fairlane Center South (19000 Hubbard Dr)
Drive across from Fairlane Center South to Fairlane Center North
Directions coming from the EAST (i.e. Detroit, Canada Bridge)
From M-153 W/Ford Rd:
While on M-153 W/Ford Rd, Take the Southfield Fwy exit toward M-39 S
Turn right onto Hubbard Dr
Turn right into Fairlane Center South (19000 Hubbard Dr)
Drive across from Fairlane Center South to Fairlane Center North
From I-94 W:
While on I-94 W, Take exit 209 toward Rotunda Dr
Turn left onto Rotunda Dr
Turn right onto Southfield Rd
Turn left onto Hubbard Dr
Turn right into Fairlane Center South (19000 Hubbard Dr)
Drive across from Fairlane Center South to Fairlane Center North
Directions coming from the NORTH (i.e. Southfield, Ferndale, Saginaw)
From M-39/Southfield Fwy:
While on M-39/Southfield Fwy, take exit 7 toward M-153/Ford Rd
Merge onto Southfield Rd
Turn right onto Hubbard Dr
Turn right into Fairlane Center South (19000 Hubbard Dr)
Drive across from Fairlane Center South to Fairlane Center North

From I-75:
While on I-75, take exit 41 for M-39/Southfield Rd
